In fact, Ronaldo's brace in the Group B tie means that the five-time Ballon d'Or winner has scored against 40 different nations.

He is the only person to achieve such a remarkable feat.

He opened the scoring in the seventh minute with a typical finish from the penalty spot, and then scored three goals in the space of 15 minutes to make it 4-1.

Ronaldo's fourth was by far the most entertaining of the game. Mostly because of the goalkeeper's horrific error.

Ronaldo has now scored 92 international goals after his latest display. Is he the greatest player of all time?
