Jigawa Golden Stars new signing, Ayinde Yusuf has expressed delight at joining the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) new club, describing it is a dream come through after he spent the last season off the pitch.
The forward last the featured for the Lagos based MFM in the 2017/18 NPFL season.
The former Niger Tornadoes is looking forward to rediscovering his game and impress his new employees at the Dutse based side when the league resumes.
“It is a great feeling to be here in Jigawa, the coaching crew have been wonderful in their deliveries, most especially the management, that has done very well in bringing players from other top sides”, Taye Adigun, the Club’s Publicist quoted Yusuf as saying.
“I cannot wait to wear the jersey and play for the team; I’m just looking for the kick-off this month”, he concluded.
Yusuf, nicknamed Falcao by his fans, will team up with former Gombe United and Nasarawa United forward Samuel Agba in the attack for Jigawa Stars.
